Psychiatrist - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)Location: Oceanside, CASchedule: Part-Time. 6-8 hours per week. Pay Rate: $200/hourAstrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a part-time psychiatrist to support an intensive outpatient program (IOP) at a hospital in Oceanside, CA. This role will primarily be one day per week, with additional coverage as needed. The psychiatrist will provide direct patient care, support program operations, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.Qualifications:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard certified or board eligible in psychiatryActive California medical license (or ability to obtain)DEA certificationStrong clinical and communication skillsNo prior IOP experience requiredJob Responsibilities:Conduct mental health intake assessments (approximately 1–2 per day)Provide follow-up care for current IOP patients (approximately 6–7 per day)Oversee and participate in weekly team meetingsDevelop and manage individualized treatment plansPrescribe and monitor psychiatric medicationsCollaborate with therapists, case managers, and clinical staffMaintain accurate and timely documentation
