Staff Accountant

Now Hiring: Staff Accountant | Joppa, MD We are partnering with a growing company in the modular construction industry that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to build a well-rounded accounting career. Rather than being limited to one function, you'll gain exposure across multiple areas of accounting while taking on increasing responsibility as you grow within the organization. What you'll be doing: Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations Assist with customer setup, invoice coding, ACH/check runs, and corporate credit card reconciliations Support sales tax, fleet, and inventory accounting Provide cross-functional support across the accounting team Gradually take on additional month‑end close responsibilities and financial reporting We're looking for someone who has: General accounting experience Experience with an ERP system (any ERP is welcome) Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills A desire to learn, take ownership, and grow within the organization Industry experience in construction is required #J-18808-Ljbffr Risus Talent Partners
