You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol observations, incident reports, and daily activity logs, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
