Medical Device Assembler

Overview

We are hiring detail-oriented Medical Device Assemblers to join a growing team in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble precision surgical instruments while following strict quality and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices across multiple product lines while meeting production targets
• Follow detailed work instructions and strict quality procedures
• Accurately complete production documentation and maintain records
• Work closely with Leads and Supervisors to meet daily priorities and schedules
• Adapt to updated procedures and new product lines as needed
• Cross-train across different assembly processes
• Support training efforts for team members when needed
• Identify and communicate material shortages proactively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including Lean initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of medical device assembly or ISO-regulated assembly experience
• Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for small-part assembly
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with strict procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR 23 years of relevant assembly experience in place of a diploma
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and documentation standards
• Experience working with microscopes, testing equipment, or soldering tools
• Basic computer skills (MS Windows and production systems)

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $22.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
