Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) care in a hospital setting. Serve as a vital team member performing complex procedures, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor during ablation, device implant, and LAAO procedures.
• Assist physicians with various interventional cardiology procedures, including AFib/Aflutter ablations and device implants.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and procedural equipment such as Philips and GE systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Adapt to team schedules, including late nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care before and after procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Proven ability to circulate, scrub, and monitor during complex electrophysiology procedures.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and late nights.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system preferred.
