Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification and current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proven experience performing X-ray, CT scans, and radiologic procedures
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and imaging best practices
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and follow established workflows
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with patients and clinical staff
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for radiography procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort
• Operate and maintain X-ray, CT, and related imaging equipment in accordance with facility guidelines
• Review physician orders, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Monitor equipment functionality, reporting and troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results
• Provide support and reassurance to patients undergoing routine and complex imaging studies
