Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized telemetry nursing care by monitoring and analyzing patient vital signs with advanced equipment to detect cardiac changes or abnormalities. Ensure prompt intervention and maintain patient safety throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Analyze data to identify early signs of cardiac distress or abnormalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Document patient assessments, findings, and interventions accurately.
• Adjust monitoring parameters based on patient condition and physician orders.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
• Possess experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
