• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: April 19, 2027
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment Type: Locum-to-perm or Permanent
• Licenses/Certifications: MO & IL licenses preferred, Board Certified in Genetics required, BLS, BNDD, DEA
• Experience: 2–5 years minimum in genetics, proficiency in metabolic disorders & diagnostics

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $195 – $260
• Additional Pay: On-call rate TBD
• Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application; support staff including genetic counselors, nurses, and assistants

What You’ll Do

• Conduct general genetics evaluations and manage biochemical/metabolic disorders
• Provide inpatient consults across PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and genetic counselors
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient consults
• Support a growing program with a patient census averaging 4-5 daily, with potential increases
• Deliver expert diagnostics and care for primary pediatric and occasional adult patients

What You Need

• Required:
  
  
  • Board Certification in Genetics
  • MO and IL medical licenses (or eligibility for licensing)
  • BLS and BNDD certification
  • DEA registration
  • 2–5+ years genetics experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills in genetics and metabolic disorders

  • Experience working in an academic or hospital setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
