About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have: - Cardiac Tele experience required - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required - BSN highly desired - Cerner experience required Description: We are a 48-bed cardiac-focused stepdown unit. The unit includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (traveler not required to take). Frequent IV drips include Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex. Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, Arrhythmias, and Vascular Surgery. Skills-based hiring enabled.
