Responsibilities

• Provide PT assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, implementing prescribed treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and gait training to LTAC patients to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living and functional training as part of discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team; maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment spaces; ensure safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and case managers to support patient goals and smooth transitions.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in LTAC or SNF settings preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and follow treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients and the care team.
• Comfortable with a 5x8 schedule and 35 guaranteed hours per week.
• Able to complete assignment credentialing and onboarding requirements.
• Eligible to work in the United States and travel to the assignment location.
