Our client, a leading organization in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, is seeking a Shop Helper to join their team. As a Shop Helper, you will be part of the workshop support team, assisting technicians and ensuring smooth shop operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Frenchtown, NJ

Assist with the repair, maintenance, and testing of heavy equipment and components.

Support equipment inspections and troubleshooting activities.

Help dismantle and reassemble machinery using hand tools and lifting equipment.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement.

Support yard operations such as loading, unloading, and organizing materials.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in mechanical, industrial, automotive, construction, or heavy equipment is preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
