Position Summary At Nena Ace Hardware, our mission is simple: Amaze Every Customer Every Time. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in upholding our Core Values and ensuring seamless store operations. You will be the go‑to person in the absence of key store management, guiding our team and creating memorable customer experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leader on Duty: Open and/or close the store as per schedule, and confidently take charge as the "Manager on Duty" when management staff is unavailable. Store Operations: Direct the store team, follow company policies and procedures, manage merchandise receiving, handle cash register transactions, reconcile daily cash, and maintain inventory control. Issue Resolution: Address and report any employee, customer, or product issues that arise during your shift. Safety Champion: Enforce safety policies and procedures, leading by example to create a safe and secure environment. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred. Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience. Proficiency in computer systems and related software. Strong data analysis and record‑keeping skills. Initiative, responsibility, and thorough execution of tasks.
