The Project Engineer is the primary technical point of contact for all project deliverables. The Project Engineer’s responsibilities include developing project objectives, writing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing and selecting equipment, and supporting the creation of drawings. They will interact with all team members to perform work correctly and promptly while promoting professional development. The Engineer will actively manage time to maintain efficient, effective, and accurate production within their projects. Strong communication skills are essential to accomplish the results of the project at hand. Primary Responsibilities Actively engage in professional development. Champion company goals and processes. Actively participate in QA/QC to ensure consistency within the department. Work with Project teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Clearly convey design philosophies, expectations, and timeline. Coordinate regulatory, permitting, survey, and third‑party construction efforts. Specify all engineered equipment and specialty items. Perform calculations to evaluate proposed designs. Evaluate design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Communicate design changes with key project team members. Understand and apply standard engineering principles. Treat all company information and customer information confidentially. Knowledge and Skills Requirements 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a Project Engineer in the industrial engineering environment – Mechanical, Civil, Process, Electrical/I&C, or Integrity. Familiar with Oil & Gas industry practices and standards. ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. High level of organizational skills. Advanced user of Microsoft Office suites. Effective and proactive communication. Active pursuit of skills and knowledge to fully understand all aspects of the position. Strong performance in both individual and team environments. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and assignments. Capability to accomplish tasks on fixed and tight deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment with aggressive deadlines. Able to identify needs, develop solutions, and articulate ideas. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills. Self‑starter mentality and effective time management. Professional demeanor at all times. Commitment to safety.
