About the Position
Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Pediatrician for a locum assignment in coastal North Carolina supporting a community outpatient Pediatrics practice with newborn nursery exposure.
This assignment offers a manageable clinic schedule, low inpatient burden, shared call structure, APP support, and EPIC EMR.
Compensation Highlights
- Clinic Pay: $210/hour ($1,680/day)
- Night Call: $400/night
- 24-Hour Weekend Call: $2,800/shift
- Callback: $250/hour
- Compensation Ranking: Top 10–15% nationally for community Pediatric locums
Additional Highlights:
- Approximately 20 patients/day
- Shared call structure
- Newborn nursery support
- No ICU
- No ER backup
- EPIC EMR
- Coastal North Carolina location

- Outpatient clinic + shared call model

- Orientation required day before first shift
- Average clinic volume: 20 patients/day
- Average admissions: 1/day
- Average newborn census: 1/day
- Shared call model with Pediatrician, NP, and FM physician
- No ICU / critical care duties
- No ER backup coverage
- Travel prepaid
- Malpractice coverage included
- Provider compensation ranks approximately Top 10–15% nationally

- Attendance at C-sections when requested by OB providers
