Lead CT Technologist

Schedule

This position is for a Day shift, working 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lead CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. The Lead CT Technologist will ensure high-quality imaging practices while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, including abdomen, chest, pelvis, and brain scans.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed for procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure adherence to imaging standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Utilize the McKesson charting system for patient documentation and imaging results.
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff as a lead technologist.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in CT.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Maryland or Compact license is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related imaging role.
• Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
