Assistant Property Manager- Holyoke

Schochet is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Chestnut Park Apartments , a 54-unit family apartment community located in Holyoke, Massachusetts. With over 50 years of experience in multifamily and affordable housing, Schochet is proud of our strong culture of employee growth, stability, and retention. Key Responsibilities: Maintain positive, professional communication with residents, prospective residents, vendors, staff, retail tenants, and members of the surrounding community Oversee rent calculations, rent collections, delinquency notices, and subsidy collections Manage legal actions related to non-payment or lease compliance when necessary Assist with and/or oversee annual and interim resident recertifications, ensuring all are completed accurately and on time Support overall property management operations to ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of multifamily property management experience Strong knowledge of local voucher programs and Tax Credit Affordable Housing regulations Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills COS or CPO certification a plus Schedule: Part-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (some flexibility available) Schochet is a recognized leader in multifamily development and property management, specializing in affordable housing.
