Shift hours: M-F 8:00 a.m. 4:30 pm Facility Name: Psychiatric Hospital Duration: 3-6 months Openings: 1 Responsibilities: Provide psychiatric and medical services. Admit, evaluate, and treat patients in accordance with facility standards. Document assessments, treatments, and discharge plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Enter medication orders using the WinPharm pharmacy system. Actively participate in individualized, multidisciplinary treatment planning and discharge coordination. Contribute to hospital-wide performance improvement activities and medical staff assignments. Collaborate with the treatment team to prepare court reports and serve as an expert witness during hearings. Qualifications: Completion of medical school training. Residency in Psychiatry or at least two years of an approved residency training program. Active medical license in Kansas. Experience and expertise in psychiatric and medical medications.
