We're looking for a skilled Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.

The Role

As a Line Cook, you'll work alongside our culinary team to prepare and execute dishes to the highest standard, night after night. This is an opportunity to sharpen your craft in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen that takes Italian cuisine seriously.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment preferred
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques a strong plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station during service
• Execute mise en place ahead of service to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain consistent food quality and timing
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
• Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs to kitchen leadership
• Handle fresh pasta, sauces, proteins, and seasonal ingredients with care and technique
• Assist with new menu development and seasonal specials as needed
