Job Description: Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an potential opportunity for a civilian Orthopedic Foot/Ankle Surgeopn atNaval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. Details: - Great Patient Population - Out-Patient Clinic - Monday through Friday, between the hours of hours, weekend and holidays. - Shifts provided between Monday through Friday will normally be scheduled for 8-hour period, not including an uncompensated 30-minute lunch break - In no instance will the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) HCW be required to provide services more than 80 hours per two-week period - No nights, No weekends, No holidays - Call responsibilities include a minimum of two (2) overnight call shifts per month, and one (1) weekend call shift every three (3) months. - Overnight call coverage is defined as on-call availability from 1600 to 0700 the following morning. - Weekend call coverage is defined as continuous on-call availability from 0700 Friday through 0700 Monday. Following weekend call, the contractor shall provide post-call coverage on Monday from 0700 to 1600 to address any operative cases generated during the call period and to complete required clinical documentation and administrative duties. - Overage hours not to exceed 10 hours monthly with a maximum of 120 annual hours. Job Requirements: The Position will have the following requirements: - Board Certified - Any State License - Successful Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency program and a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle - 24 months of experience in the past 36 months (Residency training can be Included) - BLS, ACLS - Salary to be determined but around $275-$285hr Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Militaryand VA Health Systems.
