Tax Director, Domestic

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Tax Director to oversee domestic tax accounting and forecasting functions. This role involves designing tax forecasting models, managing complex tax accounting matters, and leading tax team operations while supporting corporate financial planning and audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain integrity of tax forecasting models and scenario analyses for earnings planning
- Resolve complex tax accounting issues including effective tax rate and acquisition-related positions
- Establish tax accounting documentation standards and control frameworks for SOX compliance
- Direct tax accounting and forecasting sub-function, setting priorities and developing team members
- Collaborate with Tax Planning and Compliance leadership to optimize tax processes end-to-end
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum twelve years of tax experience (or ten years with Master's degree)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent credential
- Deep expertise in tax technical matters and ASC 740-10 accounting
- Experience with SOX Section 404 financial controls design and documentation
- Public accounting background preferred
- Fortune 500 company experience preferred
Compensation: $159,000-$226,000 base (California)
