Recreation Assistant (Campground) NF-02.

Responsibilities Circulate among patrons to ensure satisfactory service; receive and resolve customer complaints; provide information and general instructions on use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assist patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, and teaching classes. Plan, conduct, publicize, and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions; provide guidance to other staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Work experience involving dealing with the general public. Resumes two pages or less; demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities. Conditions of Employment Direct deposit and Social Security Card required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements. One‑year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete employment verification (E‑Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para.2, including a Tier 1 background investigation. Driver's license required to operate government vehicle, including UTVs/ATVs. Duties may involve working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. This is a mixed job; may be assigned to other activities based on mission requirements. Schedule: Shift varies due to mission; night, weekend, and holiday work required.
