Senior Claims Analyst
Remote and/or In-Office (Los Angeles, CA) | Insurance Claims
Pay Range: $77,500-$87,500 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
Whats the Role?
We are looking for a Senior Claims Analyst that enjoys a challenge, problem solving, and working in a friendly but fast-paced environment. As a Senior Claims Analyst, this role will require you to assist the Complex Claims Manager with oversight duties of our many Third-Party Administrators as to claim handling, settlement authority, approval of coverage communications to insureds and claimants and audit TPA claim files.
What Youll Do as a Senior Claims Analyst?
Must have the ability to analyze coverage issues and articulate the reason for a Reservation of Rights letter and/or coverage declinations.
Position requires ability to objectively evaluate a claim on its merits but also have the insight to anticipate legal costs of defense and risk.
Possess the ability to review claim files when presented with a large loss report while being a stickler for details, accuracy, and timeliness.
Qualifications
What we look for in our Senior Claims Analyst?
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Adjusters license in home State
Additional Adjuster licenses in other states a plus
Required experience in handling claims and coverage issues for multiple lines of business - commercial auto, personal auto, construction defect, and trucking in multiple States.
Proficient in, use of automated claims managements systems, multiple web access protocol and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills.
Litigation experience highly desired.
