About the Role

As the Graphic Design and Production Specialist II, you'll lead our graphic design efforts, providing essential art direction and overseeing the creation of NBDF assets. From brainstorming sessions to final production, you'll be at the forefront of our visual strategy, ensuring brand adherence and delivering eye-catching designs while preserving brand identity and consistency. Your role will also involve multimedia tasks, including UI/UX design and video editing, as well as guiding visual rebranding efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all areas of the design process from initial prototype to creation to final product, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Design graphics for digital platforms, ensuring compatibility across different formats, while complementing messaging to boost engagement and uphold brand consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to create extensible and scalable design elements that can be shared and incorporated into various projects while preserving brand identity.
• Manage, effectively communicate, and update project steps in project management software
• Create marketing collateral and designs that enhance and elevate the brand
• Strategically support design initiatives through group brainstorming and concept development session, working collaboratively and facilitating efforts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between external design resources and stakeholders, offering guidance on creative direction and ensuring consistency in design outputs.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

What You Bring:

To qualify for this unique opportunity, our ideal candidate should have the following experience and education:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Arts, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a design role in a nonprofit, Business-to Business, or campaign setting
• Experience with creating multimedia presentations, data visualizations, and web graphics
• Understanding of graphic production
• Deep understanding of marketing strategies and design best practices
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Familiarity with Canva

Where You Will Work:

This position is a remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. Applicants should be comfortable working remotely with a team dispersed across the country. This role requires some travel, typically 2-3 times a year for events outside the local area, often requiring overnight or weekend attendance. All NBDF Employees are required to attend and work at our annual Bleeding Disorders Conference.

Compensation:

We have carefully considered industry benchmarks, the experience required for this position, and internal salary comparisons to determine the appropriate salary range for this role. For this position, NBDF has set a starting base salary range $55,000-$66,000 and it is non-negotiable due to our company's commitment to maintaining internal pay equity. This approach ensures that we maintain a fair and consistent compensation structure across the organization.
