PMHNP for Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic About: Join our well-respected team of mental health professionals at Mid Cities Psychiatry, where we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health illnesses, including treatment-resistant depression and substance use disorders. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) on our team, you'll play a vital role in helping patients overcome their mental health challenges and improve their quality of life. Mid Cities Psychiatry has a structured environment having a culture where all our team members strive to work with each other. Job Summary:
Compensation: $92,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Mid Cities Psychiatry Benefits Benefits:
- Conducting patient assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications
- Monitoring patients' response to treatment and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Interpreting psychological tests
- Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to coordinate patient care
- Documenting patient medical records
- Communicating with patients and their families regarding their care and treatment plans
- Conducting medication reconciliations and managing medication refills
- Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Responding to patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Master's Degree (Required)
- Licensure To Practice in the State of Texas (Required)
- Certification
- US work authorization (Required)
- Strong clinical background with solid experience in psychotherapy
- Responsive to a fast-paced environment
- Must have a working knowledge of EMR/EHR
- Bi-lingual is a plus
