Key Carrier / Person in Charge (PIC)

Job Summary Responsible for leading store operations during assigned shifts, including supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct employees during assigned shifts. Ensure cash handling accuracy including tills, safe counts, and nightly deposits. Assist with ordering, scheduling, and basic store administration as assigned. Maintain compliance with company policies, LP standards, and safety procedures. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, resolving issues as they arise. Support all departments as needed (Meat, Produce, Bakery/Deli, Grocery). Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns. Qualifications Previous retail or grocery supervisory experience preferred. Basic math and cash handling skills. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Stand/walk for extended periods. Lift/move up to 40 lbs regularly. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Scheduling Expectations Varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Success Indicators (KPIs) Cash handling accuracy and deposit compliance. Store standards maintained during shift. Customer service feedback. Adherence to LP and safety policies.
