About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Family Birthing Center provides nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Manager, utilizing the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans that address the needs of patients and their families. Highlights Location: Meriden, CT Facility: Mid State Medical Center Department/Unit: Family Birthing Center Schedule: Part Time, Day shift What You'll Do Provide nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act. Develop a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families. Incorporate the needs and behaviors of patients' age groups in planning and providing care. Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. Work as part of the Family Birthing float pool. Requirements Education: BSN preferred Experience: Previous RN experience required Licenses & Certifications: Current RN license in Connecticut #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
