Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active licensure to practice Physical Therapy in California
• Prior experience as a PT in school or pediatric settings highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
• Ability to design, implement, and monitor therapeutic interventions in academic environments
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Evidence of teamwork and adaptability across multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ physical needs in accordance with IEP guidelines
• Develop and deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in various school settings
• Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and families to establish and achieve therapy goals
• Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students' physical development and access to curriculum
• Adapt therapy interventions based on student response and classroom needs
