Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in employment law, specifically in wrongful termination cases. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the federal litigation process and have hands-on experience in managing complex cases from inception to resolution. This role requires excellent organizational, research, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation related to wrongful termination and employment law cases, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, utilizing various legal resources and databases to support case development.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and trial preparation materials.
- Manage case files, including maintaining an accurate calendar of deadlines, filings, and court dates.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel, ensuring timely and effective exchanges of information.
- Prepare trial exhibits, summaries, and other materials for attorneys in preparation for court appearances.
- Assist in the discovery process, including document production and preparing responses to interrogatories and requests for admissions.
- Keep up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and procedural updates in employment law and wrongful termination.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing schedules, filing documents, and maintaining organized case files and databases.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, specifically in employment law and wrongful termination cases.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, regulations, and litigation procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Clio, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
