Warehouse Assistant

Description

The warehouse worker, is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, packing, and shipping goods within a warehouse. They may also operate machinery to include but not limited to forklift and pallet jacks, and are crucial for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

Essential Functions: include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving and Processing Incoming Material/Equipment:

o Verifying shipments, unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate inventory records.


• Storing and Managing Inventory:

o Placing material in designated locations, organizing shelves.

• Packing, and Shipping Orders:

o Retrieving items from designated locations, organizing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch.


• Operating Warehouse Equipment:

o Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move goods efficiently.


• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workplace:

o Cleaning up spills, organizing areas, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.


• Inventory Control and Accuracy:

o Assisting with counting and tracking inventory.


• Other Duties as Assigned:

o Assisting with various tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
