About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of minimum experience required License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab experience - Completed at least one travel assignment Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. The candidate must have recent experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS. The candidate should possess 2 years of experience in Cath Lab nursing. Must float to Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology units as needed. Precepting responsibilities will be part of the role. Daily patient census is approximately 15-20. The unit consists of 4 procedure rooms. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. No on-call or holiday shifts will be assigned. Skills required include various advanced cardiac procedures and monitoring. Candidates should be proficient in using a variety of specialized equipment and charting systems. Maintenance of high standards of infection prevention is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate ability to manage patients undergoing complex cardiac interventions.
