Business Unit Manager

We are supporting a leading Aerospace & Defence manufacturing organisation in the search for a Business Unit Manager following an internal promotion. Why this Business Unit Manager role? This is not a traditional department leadership position. As Business Unit Manager, you will operate as the leader of your own aerospace business, with responsibility for driving growth, improving performance, strengthening customer relationships, and shaping the future direction of a critical product portfolio. You will have: Salary range: $160,000 - $180,000 25% bonus Full ownership of a $150M+ aerospace business unit Significant autonomy and decision-making authority Direct visibility with executive leadership The opportunity to influence strategy, growth, and investment decisions A clear pathway toward future VP and President-level leadership opportunities Key Responsibilities of the Business Unit Manager As Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for: Full P&L ownership, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and cash generation Developing and executing business growth strategies Leading cross-functional teams across Program Management, Business Development, Account Management, and Operations Building and maintaining executive-level relationships with aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers Identifying new business opportunities and securing future programme wins Driving continuous improvement across the business unit Developing a high-performing leadership team and creating a culture of accountability The Opportunity of the Business Unit Manager: This role provides the opportunity to build an executive leadership profile within a highly successful aerospace organisation.
