Your Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT methodologies to produce diagnostic images of exceptional quality for physician review
- Engage with radiologists and the healthcare team to promote accurate patient diagnoses
- Position patients effectively and configure equipment for optimal results
- Implement rigorous radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
- Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver empathetic patient care throughout the imaging process
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging workspace
Education Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program is necessary
Certifications Needed
- ARRT certification (in CT or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification, or ability to secure it within 90 days of employment
