Laundry Aide – 32 Hours/Week | $18.40–$19.90/hr + Weekend Differential
Location: Fairmount Homes – Ephrata, PA
Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM | Every other Saturday & one Sunday a month

What We Offer:

• Starting pay of $18.40–$19.90/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Collect soiled laundry, handling it safely to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria

• Follow proper precautions when washing “contaminated” or “isolation” linens

• Sort laundry items by category, wash, dry, and fold according to material type

• Distribute clean laundry to designated areas using laundry carts

• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and carts

• Protect residents’ linens and clothing during the laundering process

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to follow simple oral directions

• Previous laundry experience helpful but not required—we’ll train you!

• Working knowledge of commercial laundry equipment a plus

• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to our mission and values
