Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: Dallas, TX (75220) Employment Type: Direct Hire Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000/year Relocation Assistance Available Sponsorship Not AvailableA multidisciplinary design and engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical engineering projects across residential and commercial sectors. This role involves overseeing all phases of design and execution, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesManage electrical engineering projects of varying size and complexityDevelop concept designs, load calculations, schematics, and system reportsDesign electrical systems: distribution, UPS, lighting, life safety, fire alarm, and moreIntegrate ICAT services: AV, communications, security, structured cablingWrite and review construction specifications and concept reportsEnsure technical accuracy and quality across all deliverablesLead project teams and allocate resources effectivelyConduct site visits during construction phases as neededMaintain project schedules, budgets, and client satisfactionReview shop drawings and identify scope changes or additional service needsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)Project Management certification or diploma (asset)LEED accreditation (asset)5+ years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineeringStrong knowledge of contractors, suppliers, and manufacturersExperience in mechanical/electrical coordination and constructionProven success in project delivery and team leadershipRequired SkillsStrong verbal and written communicationAbility to work in virtual design environmentsCreative, analytical, and detail-orientedTeam-focused with a customer service mindsetFlexible, self-motivated, and resourcefulSkilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagementBenefitsComprehensive health insurance with HSADental and vision coverageCompany-funded short- and long-term disabilityLife insuranceRobust 401(k) retirement planFlexible work schedule optionsThis opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer ready to take ownership of impactful projects and mentor a growing team.
