Job Description

As an Associate at Kearney, you will be a key contributor to the growth and development of our Mobility, Defense and advanced Industrials Practice (MDI) as we offer honest advice and practical guidance to our clients. The MDI Practice supports organizations in the development, production, operations and sustainment of aerospace and defense platforms.

Working alongside a dedicated and diverse set of people, you will work alongside our clients to define and implement strategies that will deliver both short-term results and longer-term competitiveness in this ever-changing market environment.

Through unique hands-on experiences, you will broaden your knowledge across a breadth of topics while developing relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. In addition,welook for individuals with the following experienceorqualities:

• MBA degree preferred with 5-10 years of professional experience. Other relevant advanced degrees will also be considered.
• Experience working as a Management Consultant strongly preferred.
• Experience working in or alongside clients in the following industries:
  • Aerospace & Defense
  • Aviation
  • Mobility
  • Advanced Industrials
• Functional expertise in manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Active clearance is a plus
• Be located near or willing to relocate toAtlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit,New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C.,or Toronto.
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commutable distance of one of the following Kearney office locations: New York, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., or Detroit.
• This role requires approximately 50–80% travel, based on client and business needs.

Associate Base Salary (post MBA) - $188,000 - $194,000 : Candidates without an MBA will also be considered for the role. Such candidates will be eligible for a base salary of $157,000. Under exceptional circumstances, candidates without an MBA may be considered for a base salary of $188,000. However, it is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, office location, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitive ness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
