This facility operates as part of a large health system, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient gastroenterology coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought from November 17, 2026 through May 17, 2027.

The assignment area offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor, recreational, and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Water-based activities including kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing are available at a local lake, which also features walking trails, while cycling routes along vineyard roads provide additional outdoor options. Families and individuals may also visit a regional science museum, a county historical museum, and a park featuring a zoo, a Japanese garden, and picnic areas, alongside ecological preserves suited to birdwatching.

The gastroenterologist will provide clinic-based and inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a 24-hour call basis at this on-site facility. Clinic coverage is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with clinicians expected to see 2 patients per hour during clinic hours. Call coverage runs on a 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM schedule, during which clinicians must remain available to respond to calls from the facility in a timely manner per medical staff guidelines and evaluate emergent patients as presented through the Emergency Department. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
