Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist 1 position is located in Plano, Texas. This role involves supporting the surgical team during invasive procedures to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working in a dynamic clinical environment, assisting with instrumentation, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring surgical supplies and equipment are prepared and functioning properly.

Job Details:

• Location: Plano, TX
• Schedule: 2x12s (0630-1700) AND 2x8s (0630-1500), variable days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS (American Heart Association only), certification as a surgical technologist through a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program or equivalent; successful completion of formal training in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service, or a one-year operating room technician program preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CVOR specific experience, including Open Hearts, Vascular, Endovascular, or Thoracic procedures.
• Additional Notes: Last updated 08/12/2024. Temp to perm position with a travel component lasting 16 weeks. Scrub color provided.
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS (AHA), CST certification, completed surgical technology program, 2 years minimum CVOR experience, located in Plano, TX, and available for a 16-week assignment starting 07/13/2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CVOR procedures such as Open Hearts, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic.
