Eucharistic Minister for Hospital Patients
Gaylord Hospital
Gaylord Hospital is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Eucharistic Minister to bring Holy Communion to patients in a hospital setting. Our ministry team offers a meaningful way to share God’s presence with those who are ill, isolated, or in need of spiritual support.
Role Details
- Commitment: 1 time per week
- Time Required: Approximately 3 hours per visit
- Location: Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford CT
- Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned patients
- Offer prayer and distribute Holy Communion
- Provide a calm, compassionate presence
Who We’re Looking For
- A practicing Catholic in good standing
- Already trained/commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister by their local parish.
- Someone who is kind, reliable, and comfortable interacting with patients and staff.
- Someone who coordinates with the volunteer ministry team to provide needed coverage.
