Infection Preventionist RN LPN

Elevate Care is looking for a dedicated Infection Preventionist RN or LPN to lead our infection control efforts and support our mission of providing a safe, healthy environment for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor the facility’s infection prevention and control program Perform ongoing surveillance and investigate any outbreaks or infection trends Provide training and education to staff on infection prevention best practices Ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, IDPH, and other applicable guidelines Collaborate with clinical teams to reduce healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) Conduct audits and maintain documentation for state and federal survey readiness Requirements Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing Experience in infection prevention/control preferred Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is a plus or willingness to obtain Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is strongly preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Why Elevate Care?
