RN Oncology - *URGENT HIRE*

Oncology Nurse

Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the oncology department. Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor patients' reactions. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about treatment options and side effects. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care. Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with procedures such as IV insertion and sterile processing. Monitor patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.

Skills: Valid RN license and BLS certification. Minimum 1 year experience in oncology or related field preferred. Must have Chemo Certification. Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning. Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center protocols and procedures. Familiarity with pediatric oncology care. Ability to lift and move patients as needed. KY State license / Compact license must be active at time of submission.
