Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide direct and indirect patient care
• Manage general medical patients with DM, GI, respiratory, renal issues, and more
• Perform wound/dressing changes, manage chest tubes/trachs, and perform lab draws
• Manage telemetry strips and use PCA pumps effectively
• Work collaboratively with CNAs and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain strong written and oral communication skills

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience
• Experience with chest tubes, PIV starts, drain & tubes management
• Proficiency in reading telemetry strips and Gtt management
