Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR during surgical procedures and support anesthesia providers and the surgical team.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure safe handling of instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, pre-operative checks, and safety assessments.
- Participate in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure planning and nursing care per department criteria.
- Safely manage biohazardous materials and document care activities in the facility’s electronic health record (EPIC).

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and PALS required
- Minimum 1 year of operating room experience; 2+ years preferred
- OR experience in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and trauma
- EPIC experience required
- ADN or ASN in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Ability to work in a high-demand perioperative environment and participate in rotating schedules including call
