About the Role
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying all received materials to ensure they meet company standards in a medical device manufacturing environment. This role involves thorough inspection using precision measurement tools and maintaining accurate quality records to support compliance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect received materials using written inspection procedures, drawings, specification sheets, and first article samples.
• Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters, thread gauges, tensile testers, vision systems, and optical comparators.
• Ensure all received materials comply with relevant documentation and company policies before delivery to appropriate locations.
• Complete, maintain, and distribute accurate inspection and quality records.
• Communicate inspection results and any quality issues directly with manufacturing, material control, and management teams.
• Handle nonconforming materials in accordance with established procedures and ensure proper documentation.
• Follow clean room protocols and inspection procedures applicable to medical device manufacturing environments.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of experience in assembly and quality control (QC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical device manufacturing or assembly environment
• Experience working in a clean room environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
• Good interpersonal skills
