Optometric Technician

Join Our Team as an Optometric Technician at South Grove Eye Care! Daily Responsibilities: Conduct pre-testing and assist with eye exams Perform general scheduling and answer phones Provide excellent patient care and customer service Assist with dispensing, adjustments, and minor repairs to eyewear Assist with submittion of insurance claims and handle billing inquiries Required Skills: Experience in optical knowledge and lensometry Ability to perform pretesting such as Optos, OCT, iCare Knowledge of autorefractor and FDT Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations Nice to Have Skills: NCLE certification Experience with contact lens fittings Knowledge of eye care diagnosis and visual acuity Ability to perform general repairs on optical equipment Proficiency in scheduling appointments Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $36,000 to $48,000 per year, along with health insurance, holiday pay, and paid time off.
