Pay Rate: $30 – $38/hour

Schedule: 7PM – 7AM | 3 on, 2 off, every other weekend

Location: Dickson, TN

Overview

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume, uptime-critical manufacturing operation in Dickson, TN. This is a night shift role in a production environment where equipment reliability directly impacts output, and technicians are expected to take ownership of issues and drive fast, effective resolutions. We're looking for a technician who is electrically strong first , with the ability to diagnose issues down to the PLC level (no programming required), while also being mechanically capable enough to support repairs and keep production running.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (inputs/outputs, sensors, drives — no programming)
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime
• Support repairs on motors, VFDs, sensors, and control components
• Identify root cause of failures and implement lasting fixes (not temporary solutions)
• Fabricate or modify parts using basic shop equipment as needed
• Document maintenance activity and communicate effectively across shifts
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting ability (non-negotiable)
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required)
• Knowledge of motors, drives (VFDs), hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Mechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Comfortable working independently on night shift in a fast-paced environment
