RECEIVING COORDINATOR

Monday - Friday

8:00 am – 5:00 pm

$18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment.
• Assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
• Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.
• Record shipment data, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Deliver or route materials to departments using a Big Joe Straddle Stacker forklift.
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
• Field incoming calls and provide general customer service.
• Process sales/order entry as needed.
• Perform necessary follow up in order to close sales.
• Document and maintain sales cycle, customer/rep contact and clinical support in Synergy, as outlined in Quality System Manual.
• Provide technical and clinical support as needed in accordance with company Quality System Manual.
• Support the Customer Service Manager with Company’s distributors, representatives, retail, and government customers.
• Assist distributors/independent representatives.
• Provide reports on activities to the Customer Service Manager.
• Travel as requested to conferences, lectures, and seminars for the promotion of company’s products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
• Basic reading & math skills
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Become proficient in Alpha-Stim technology, ERP System, and Customer Service Support functions as needed.
• Typing 45 + wpm.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
