Site Work & Turf Construction Crew Member
Haven Outdoor
Job Description
Job Description
About Us
Haven Outdoor Turf specializes in high-end artificial turf installations — luxury golf greens, large-scale turf projects, and one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces. Our work is detailed, our clients are discerning, and our projects stand out. If you take pride in craftsmanship and love building things that last, you'll fit right in.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled construction crew member who can do it all (experience in grading, harscape, lanscaping, concrete and artificial turf). On any given week, you might be grading a site and running the excavator — and the next day you're cutting and seaming turf. Both sides of the job matter equally, and we need someone who respects that.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing jobsites and resources needed to complete projects within budget and schedule
- Earthwork: site grading, dirt moving, drainage prep, and compaction
- Operating heavy equipment — skid steer, excavator, and related machinery
- Hauling and trailering equipment to and between job sites
- Turf installation: layout, cutting, seaming, infill, and finishing
- Supporting the crew through all phases of a project from dig-out to final install
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in outdoor construction — civil, hardscape, landscape, or site work
- Comfortable operating a skid steer and excavator (required)
- Valid driver's license with ability to haul a trailer
- Willing to get hands-on with turf installation
- Problem Solver
- Team player who shows up ready to work regardless of what the day calls for
- Ability to travel within the Carolinas as projects require
Bonus Points
● Prior experience with artificial turf or synthetic surfaces
● Hardscape or landscape construction background
● Experience on high-end residential or commercial projects
Why Work With Us
We do the kind of work you'll want to show off. Our projects are large, complex, and genuinely impressive — not cookie-cutter installs. You'll work alongside a crew that cares about quality, and you'll be compensated fairly for bringing both your equipment skills and your hands to the table. Per diem is provided for travel, so when projects take you on the road, you're covered.
