Patient Access Representative III
Flu vaccine required. Start Date: ASAP. Hours: 5 x 8 M-F 0800-1700. Department: Central Access Scheduling, Surgical Registration Requirements: 2 years of work experience in healthcare setting, 1 year of experience with data entry functions, High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of experience with Insurance Eligibility Verification, knowledge of understanding insurance benefits and prior authorizations, Surgical scheduling/treatment scheduling experience preferred, Functional EPIC knowledge preferred, Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Job Summary: Patient Access Representative III secures and provides appropriate information to patient families and funding sources to register, schedule and/or obtain authorizations for inpatient, outpatient, and/or diagnostic services. Experience/general knowledge of managed care health plans; knowledge of scheduling, registration, billing and/or claims payment.
