Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated paraprofessional supporting students in a dynamic school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with educators and students during an engaging summer session scheduled from June 29 to July 30, with hours from 7:45am to 1:30pm, Monday through Thursday.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred
• Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to inspire confidence in students
• Relevant certifications or clearances as required by local regulations

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups under the guidance of classroom teachers
• Assist with classroom activities, instructional materials, and behavioral support as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Help monitor student progress and log observations for teachers’ review
• Support students’ social and emotional needs throughout the program
• Ensure a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere
