Scheduler

Position summary: The scheduler creates work schedules for nurses and CNAs and maintains effective daily and weekly work schedules, including monitoring staff attendance. Role Qualifications: Proficiency with computers, excellent communication skills, ability to handle and prioritize multiple schedules Position responsibilities: Schedulers create and post schedules, solve scheduling issues, and schedule employees in the most effective manner. Identify unforeseen issues in schedules and provide quick responses to improve the structure. Report to the DON or ADMIN for complication of staff schedules and attendance issues. Essential skill and experience: Multitasking, organization, and shifting resources, CNA experience Nonessential skill and experience: Prior scheduling experience Reporting to this position: Nurses and CNAs when requesting schedule changes Physical demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
